“ Stopped here to buy a quick morning breakfast. They were wuick and I just got here right before they sold their hot breakfast. ”
“ Lots of delicious Mexican sweet breads, freshly baked. This is a small and crowded bakery with a huge selection. It's a Mexican-style bakery, so you get a tray and tongs and pick out whatever you like. I love getting coffee and bread and taking it to the park nearby. ”
“ Panaderia Mi Mexico Pequeño is just simply exceptional. Friendly staff and great atmosphere all year round. Each and every single thing that we purchased was very fresh and delicious. Service was fabulous and every one working here was extremely nice and hospitable. Your money will not go to waste in Panaderia Mi Mexico Pequeño. ”
“ Delicious tres leche! Not too sweet just perfect! Sizes are generous and they have authentic Mexican breads and desserts! Our after dinner dessert place and hot "cafe con leche" at anytime! ”
“ A very budget friendly Mexican joint that sells a whole variety of Mexican breads baked on spot. Seemingly loved by residents as it was reasonable packed while I visited early in the morning. I have no clue what Mexican breads are like, so out of curiosity I got 3 different types. Amazingly all of them cost $4. As long as one does not expect any butterly, soft, fluffy bread, they taste fair to the price and are a good bargain. A bit dry, quite sweet, and all come in decent sized and at a very low price. It doesn't taste like a croissant that easily cost $5 in most bakeries these days but I still felt they are a bargain. I will def come again to explore more when I visit the neighborhood. ”
“ Amo esa panaderia, el pan dulce es muy rico!!! I love that bakery the bread is so delicious!!! ”
“ A day spent in Sunset Park was a cultural and culinary treat. I am obsessed with all things Spanish, so naturally I found myself right at home here on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn. Never mind the cat calls and the obvious staring and howling, it all comes with the territory. After having some tacos with friends, I decided to stroll down 5th Avenue for some groceries. I was in search of some fruits and oddities. You see, I am addicted to tamarind. I love the tartiness and flavour blurst in your mouth. I went into a few grocery stores, and none of them carried tamarindo pulpo candy, until I ventured here. When I was in Mexico, I ate so much of this candy. But once I got back here, I had a hard time finding it. I was able to find some of it in South Park Slop thanks to a trusted yelper, Deanna W. Lo and behold, I walk in here and there on the counter and on a rack are all the tamarindo candy I want. They have tamarindo pulpo candy, spicy tamarind sticks, tamarind balls, and also spicy dried mango. Boy, was I happy. I bought a few packages of tamarindo pulpo candy (5 pieces for $1 ) and also one bag of dried spicy mangoes. I came out of this store, beaming from ear to ear. It is the small things in life that makes it so good. (I also heard the pastries are good, and not a earful of English was heard in this store. Viva Mexico!) ”
